This Abstract Turntablism workshop is a hands-on workshop using turntables and vinyl records as an instrument. Learn from internationally acclaimed turntablist and sound artist Maria Chavez. All students will receive a free .PDF of Maria’s book, Of Technique: Chance Procedures on Turntable and will learn 3 basic abstract turntablism techniques, break a record and practice the techniques among peers.
Date: Sunday, March 1st, 2PM-4PM
Fee: $25/OCAF Members, $30/Non-members
All experience levels welcome! Ages 10+ (parent/guardian must accompany students under 18)
