In this interactive, arts-and-wellness workshop inspired by James Allen’s As a Man Thinketh, kids learn a simple, empowering idea: thoughts are like seeds. The thoughts we repeat grow into choices, habits, and results—so we can learn to notice unhelpful “weed thoughts,” pull them out, and plant “seed thoughts” that help us grow.
Through kid-friendly discussion, quick writing prompts, and a hands-on art activity, students will practice a simple mindset skill they can use in real life: Pause–Breathe–Choose. Each participant will design and create a Mindset Maker Bookmark (a take-home reminder) featuring their chosen seed thought and a small action they’ll practice during the week.
This workshop is positive, practical, and age-appropriate. Sharing is always optional; students can keep personal reflections private.
